With the new shipped and delivered triggers for Experiences, you're able to engage with shoppers as soon as an order is shipped or delivered. Here are a few ways you can take advantage of this:
- Ask customers if they have any questions about the product they just ordered
- Educate shoppers about your brand and other products when an order has been delivered
- Ask for a photo using your product when it has been delivered

Overview: Shipped & Delivered Experience Triggers
Note: This functionality is currently only available for Shopify brands.
1. Go to the Experiences tab and click "Create new Experience." Scroll down and select one of our new pre-built templates that use the shipped or delivered trigger, or create an Experience from scratch using the "Blank" template.
Here are the new shipped and delivered templates you can use:

2. Next, you'll be taken to the Experience Settings. Under Targeting, you'll see that the new default entry is More than once. This means that customers will get shipping and delivery notifications for each order they place.

3. Click Next and you'll be taken to our flow builder where you can further customize your campaign. If you'd like to edit any of the pre-built messages from a template, click the pencil icon.
You can add some message variables that are specific to shipping and delivery, including:

Note: Tracking variables will take a shopper directly to whichever shipping carrier you use (i.e., UPS, USPS, etc.)

4. Use "Preview" to ensure your flow looks good before publishing and "Inspect" to make sure everything is properly filled out. When you're ready to push your Experience live, click "Publish."

Note: If you are creating an Experience from a blank template, select the trigger that will initiate your Experience from the drop down => Shipped or Delivered.

Who will get these shipped and delivered messages?
- Only customers who have opted-in to receive text messages from your brand
What if there are multiple items in an order?
- The shipped or delivered Experience will be triggered for each item within an order
What if I've already set up email alerts, Shopify SMS, or other SMS notifications for shipping?
- You can continue to use email, Shopify SMS, and other notifications alongside Emotive
- These Experience triggers were built to engage with subscribers after their order has been placed (i.e., educating customers about your brand and products when the order is shipped or asking for a review when the order is delivered)
What about the Shop App?
- This will work alongside the Shop App
Will this be coming out for other eCommerce platforms?
- Our shipped and delivered functionality is currently only for Shopify brands. If you would like to see this for your eCommerce platform, submit a feature request on Canny!
